How do I know which level I am?

You can take our placement test with a tutor to determine your current English level. We’ll help you choose the course and format that fit your goals.

Do I need to know my English level before joining?

Not at all. If you’re not sure whether you’re A1, B1, or somewhere in between, we’ll help you figure it out.

Are the lessons online or in person?

Our lessons are primarily online, so you can learn English from wherever you are and fit classes around your lifestyle.

How many students are in a group?

We keep our groups small so that everyone has enough time to speak, participate, and receive individual feedback. Duo classes are perfect for two people who want to learn together while keeping the experience personal and focused. Whether you’re friends, partners, colleagues, or simply two people with similar goals, you can progress together and motivate each other along the way. Group classes (3-4 students) bring together students with similar levels and goals in a supportive environment where everyone has space to participate.

Will I actually speak during the lessons?

Absolutely. Speaking is at the heart of what we do. Our lessons are built around communication, not simply listening to a teacher explain grammar.

Do you teach American English?

At BELONG, we teach both American and British English. The variety you focus on depends on your goals, the type of English you need in your everyday life, and the teacher you choose. And if you’re not sure which one is right for you — don’t worry. We’ll help you figure it out.

How many lessons do I need to improve my English?

There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Your progress depends on your starting level, goals, consistency, and how much English you use outside the classroom.

Can I join if I have a busy schedule?

Yes. We offer different learning formats and schedules designed to make consistent English practice realistic alongside work, studies, and everyday life.

Will I get homework?

Homework depends on the course and your goals. We focus on meaningful practice that helps you use English outside the classroom — not homework for the sake of homework.

Can you help me prepare for an English exam?

Yes. We offer exam preparation for students who need structured practice, strategies, and support to reach their target score.

Can I study English for work or IT?

Yes. Our Corporate English and English for IT programs focus on the communication skills and tech vocabulary you actually need in professional environments.

How quickly will I become fluent?

Fluency isn’t a finish line you reach after a certain number of lessons. Our goal is to help you become progressively more confident, independent, and natural in real-life communication.
